Framingham, MA — Tuesday May, 4th, 2021 — Re:Build Manufacturing is pleased to announce the acquisition of Cutting Dynamics, Inc. (Avon, OH), significantly expanding Re:Build’s product and service offering as part of the Re:Build Advanced Materials Group.
Cutting Dynamics Inc. (CDI) is an AS9100 certified manufacturing business that brings over 35 years of experience in design, engineering and production of metallic and thermoplastic composite structures and assemblies, with a strong emphasis on the aerospace, defense and industrial markets; CDI’s capabilities are a strong complement to the other Re:Build Advanced Materials Group product and service offerings, which already include high-rate thermoplastic composite components (https://www.oribicomposites.com/) and advanced thermoset structures and assemblies (http://composite-resources.com/). The convergence of these brands brings a unique mix of product and service offerings in fabricated structures together with a highly customer-centric culture and organization.
Oribi Composites, an organization focused on rate enabled thermoplastic structures, is excited to announce the launch of their new website https://www.oribicomposites.com. In 2021, Oribi Composites celebrates both their 13th year in operation along with their recent integration into Re:Build Manufacturing’s Advanced Materials Group, focused on enabling the onshoring of US manufacturing jobs.
The site now features a forum for industry to explore Oribi’s capabilities, the processes Oribi employs (3D FORM™ and SPIN™), the markets served, and the areas where the Oribi team can support design and analysis, into and throughout high-rate serial production. The Oribi Composites team welcomes you to investigate the world-class capabilities with their encouragement to reach out with any interest.

On behalf of Oribi Composites, we are excited to announce that we are now a part of Re:Build Manufacturing, effective immediately.
Re:Build Manufacturing, headquartered in Framingham, Massachusetts, is an industrial manufacturing group that is investing in both new technologies and conventional manufacturing businesses, with the goal of rebuilding America’s manufacturing base and creating meaningful, sustainable jobs in segments that have been de-industrialized over time. Re:Build is privately owned, and is focused on a long term, ‘buy and build’ approach over many years. As such, Oribi Composites customers can expect the only changes made to the business will be for the better, and will be made to expand Oribi Composites already well established team and capabilities.
