Oribi SPIN™ combines automation, robotics, and high-speed thermoforming with the inherent strength and durability of continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resins. This revolutionary processing technology enables the adoption of thermoplastic composite materials for products such as electric vehicle wheels and components, ATV wheels, and golf cart wheels.

SPIN™ creates fully consolidated and trimmed structural composite components in less than 2 minutes, with no touch labor.  As a result, we can produce high volumes of wheels, structural seals and gaskets, and other circular components at record speed. Our technology allows Oribi's thermoplastic wheels to be cost-competitive with traditionalmetallics and plastics while providing the product performance advantages of continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite materials.

The Oribi carbon fiber composite wheel is significantly lighter with much better performance compared to traditional steel or aluminum wheels. The significant weight advantages of Oribi’s composite wheels translate into quantifiable increased vehicle performance.
